HAZOP

The Group uses proprietary software to conduct its HAZOP™ work sessions. The company currently has 81 industry approved HAZOP™ chairman, all from extensive oil, gas & energy backgrounds. The Group systematically applies all appropriate keyword combinations to the plant and makes an effort to find potential problems The HAZOP™ team first defines the scope of the study, then breaks the HAZOP™ session down into P&IDs and nodes and systematically works through a combination of guide words in several distinct steps. Simple guide words are used to define the process design intent prompted by NOT or NO. In the process section that is being examined each guide word (e.g. flow, temperature, composition, operability, etc.) is combined with process parameters
